Reading Journey
Sessions are how the Journey gets written.
Your Reading Journey is the chronological view of your reading life — the books you start, the ones you finish, the milestones you earn. The sessions underneath it are what make it true.
Reading sessions keep their own history, separate from the Journey.

Questions
- What is a reading timer?
- A reading timer records how long you actually read. In RUNU you start a session for the book in your hands, pause and resume it as life interrupts, and record the page you ended on — the duration, the pages and the pace are kept as one dated record.
- Does RUNU track reading pace?
- Yes. Each session keeps the pages you advanced and its duration, so RUNU shows your pace in pages per hour for that sitting, and across every session that recorded both.
- What happens when a session ends?
- You record the page you finished on and RUNU shows a recap of that sitting: the duration, the pages you read and where you are in the book. The session is then kept in your session history.
- How is this different from the reading tracker?
- The reading tracker holds your library, statuses and progress. The timer records the reading itself — individual sessions that accumulate into statistics and into your Reading Journey.
